Why FinSaAIstra Exists
FinSaAIstra was born from a simple observation: the executives navigating the most consequential transformation in financial services history, the convergence of AI, regulatory change, and digital disruption, were being served intelligence that was too slow, too generic, and too disconnected from the strategic decisions they actually needed to make.
As a practitioner who has spent years at the intersection of fintech product development, regulatory compliance, and enterprise technology, I built the intelligence resource I wished had existed. Every edition of the FinSaAIstra Intelligence Brief is written for a single reader: a CXO, board member, or senior operator who needs to understand what is happening, why it matters, and what to do about it, without wading through noise.
The name FinSaAIstra reflects the four domains that define the intelligence landscape: Fintech, SaaS, AI, and strategy, the forces reshaping every financial institution on the planet.

Professional Background
For 18 years I've worked on one hard problem in different costumes: how do you let regulated businesses move fast without breaking the rules that keep them alive? The roles changed, the problem didn't.

AI Identity and Risk Platform (BFSI and FinTech) · Jul 2022 to Mar 2026
This was a platform that verifies identity and scores risk in real time for banks and fintechs, at the moment someone opens an account or takes a loan, without letting fraud through and without making honest people give up. The team I led built the products that took it from early scale to north of $24M ARR, seeded a product and partnerships engine that added several million more, and grew the product org roughly tenfold across three-plus years. Expansion spanned India, Africa, and Southeast Asia.

Made tax compliance automatic for online sellers by embedding it directly inside the commerce and ERP systems they already ran. Built and launched roughly 14 integration products, enabling tens of thousands of merchants across North America and Europe.

Turned enterprise contracts, and the obligations buried inside them, into governed, searchable software embedded in the platforms large companies already used. Scaled the product from MVP to multi-million ARR and built the customer feedback loops behind continuous improvement.
